About

art teacher, drawer, wannabe tech geek, twitter addict and ipad enthusiast

As a young child my father encouraged me to draw, copy and sketch whatever and whenever possible. I remember him showing me how to hold a pencil and this began my lifelong love for art. It is through his legacy that I continue to advocate drawing in my teaching and beyond. He was an inspiration and a perfectionist, a trait I inherit, making me fearful of mistakes yet determined to conquer them.

So it is with this thought that I embark on a new online and fearfully public  journey. I urge your help and encouragement but more than that your advice and direction. If my dad were here now he would do all of that but above all he would be proud…….
